Indian IT gave back part of Tuesday's rally today - TCS closed -2.8%, Wipro -1.8%, Infosys -1.6%, Tech Mahindra -1.1%.
Two things behind it: the Nifty IT index had jumped about 5% in early trade on Sep 15 as AI-disruption worries eased, and traders trimmed exposure before the Fed decision landing after the India close.
IT and Pharma were the day's laggards while banks and FMCG led the Sensex 333 points higher.
